4  Morning food habits you need for healthy skin and energy.

I can’t even begin to count how many people have asked me how I get my skin to be so nice or how to grow your hair long in the course of my blogging life. Sometimes I don’t respond, not to be rude, but I don’t want to come off like there’s this miracle product that I use …because genuinely it’s not. Its commitment to the skin and body I am in. Your outer body is a reflection of what is on the inside. Just in case you’ve been living in a hole and have never heard this phrase before…”Breakfast is the MOST IMPORTANT meal of the day”..because your body is at this vulnerable stage. Your tummy is empty, your body organs are waking up from a whole night of regenerating and they need the most love at this point…then you wake up and gulp a whole jug of coffee first …do you even like yourself?

So before I get all judgemental and hypocritical; as if I haven’t done that as well, let’s get to the few habits you need to change to see better results especially with your energy levels during the day

  1. Drink water first thing you wake up

I don’t care if you’ll have to ask for divine intervention on this part..but YOU MUST drink water …theres no faster way to flush out toxins and wake your body organs ..especially the tummy than with a glass of water in the morning .Brush your teeth first though ..eew..

2.Avoid Sugary foods

I dream of sugary foods..okay? I ..am..sugary foods..*wink* . In the morning, that is a no go zone! Sugar gives your body a boost, right? Problem is, you’ll just come crashing down just as fast later ..you eat your doughnut and your coffee..ooh what a day!..No..its a joke that’s what ..now at 11 you can’t even..you could have though ..if you did no 3.

3. Eat a proper meal

Oh look you’re still here!. Eat actual food. I mean dinner’s leftovers. Food that will give you energy slowly and constantly through out the day. If last night’s dinner isn’t there, make some food. Baked beans, eggs, spinach and mushrooms. Make some oats or porridge, boil some sweet potato,Eat properly and well.

4.Substitute Caffeine for fruits

First of all if you just made a face when you read that..shame. You don’t need coffee every morning .You’ve just conditioned yourself that way.Get some orange juice ,any fruit juice or a fresh fruit smoothie to get you a good balanced diet breakfast.

okay now at like 11 or 10 am you can have a cup of whatever you like. As long as you gave your precious body the nutrients and love it needed at the time that mattered most.

    I will try it.especially the coffee part.i can’t go without having 5 cups a day
