Pumpkin spice latte to warm your soul!

This beautiful drink is for all of you darlings obsessed with tea.I know this because its like a ritual for most Kenyans to have tea at least 2 times a day.Too much of something is bad for you so here’s a beautiful healthy alternative to drinking tea.When I say this cup warms you straight to your soul.I mean it. Now bear with me it might seem like an unconventional way to make tea but I promise this will be one of the highlights of your day if you do.

  1. Boil the pumpkin on high for 5 mins till soft.Don't add anything to the pumpkin.
  2. Use a blender or food processor to make a smooth puree
  3. Heat a small pot for a few minutes.Add the spices first for about 1 minute and let them heat up then add the milk followed by 1/2 of the pumpkin puree.
  4. Stir,add sugar ,the turmeric and let it come to a boil
  5. Take it off the heat,Sieve and enjoy
